A2: Froggy Pond

Notes and Information

  • This location relates to the rock pools and small beaches around Boulders Beach and Windmill Beach, adjacent to the Simonstown Country Club, and very close to the Simonstown Naval Base.

  • NOTE: it is advisable to wear a wetsuit if you plan on snorkeling here, as the water in this region can drop to temperatures as low as 15 degrees C in Autumn.

  • It is a good source for Marginellidae and nice specimens of Conus simplex.
