The further northward you travel along the Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN) coastline, the warmer the water gets and the greater the numbers of sub-tropical species are found, especially offshore within the deepwater reefs. But the coasts also deliver and many indo-pacific species are found in rock pools along this coastal region.
