This location relates to the beach areas around the Kosi Bay Mouth estuary.

NOTE: Kosi Bay Mouth is in the iSimangaliso Marine Protected Area. No collection of live specimens is allowed in the MPA, even with a permit. Only beached and dead specimens may be collected here.

Many beautiful shells in great condition can be found here, as well as delicate shells including sea pansies.

NOTE: it is a popular tourist destination and is therefore often crowded with people, making shelling difficult.
